Poker table hire in London turns a party into a proper poker night. Texas Hold'em is the poker game people know from television, and it brings guests together in a way few other games do. Premium Fun Casino has provided poker tables for 15 years, for birthdays, corporate evenings, charity events and private parties. Here is how a poker night works and what to plan for.

Why Texas Hold'em Works at an Event

Texas Hold'em is easy to follow and hard to put down. Each player receives two cards face down, and five community cards are dealt face up in the middle. Players make the best five-card hand they can from those seven cards. Guests bluff, read each other and enjoy the drama of every showdown.

It is also a good networking game. Players sit together for the whole evening, so conversation flows naturally, which is why poker tournaments are a popular choice for company events. And because everyone plays with fun casino money, there is no real gambling.

Our Poker Tables

Our full-size Texas Hold'em Poker tables are 8ft x 4ft and free-standing, with a traditional kidney shape. One table seats up to ten players plus a croupier, which makes it good value for a group. We hold traditional green cloths as well as red and blue, and the tables are finished with a black padded surround that looks smart in any room.

Leave space for the croupier and for spectators to stand behind the players. Tell us about your venue and we will confirm that the table fits comfortably. You can read more on our Texas Hold'em Poker page.

Never Played? That Is Fine

Not everyone arrives knowing the rules. Before a tournament, we provide an introductory poker lesson, and guests receive printed hands sheets that show which hands beat which. Our croupiers help throughout the evening and give hints and tips as the game goes on. In a few hands, newcomers are playing alongside confident players.

What Is Included in a Poker Hire Booking

  • A full-size professional poker table with a croupier for a three hour dealing period

  • Fun casino money for all your guests

  • An introductory lesson and printed hands sheets

  • Same-day delivery, setup and collection

  • Public liability insurance

Extended playing time is available on request.

Running a Poker Tournament

A tournament gives the night a clear shape. Everyone starts with the same stack of fun chips, and players are knocked out as their chips run out until one winner remains. For a bigger group, run two tables and bring the finalists together at the end. Many hosts add a small prize for the winner, which adds a competitive edge without any real gambling.

A tournament works best with a group who like to compete, such as a sales team, a friendship group or a company away evening. If you would rather offer a more relaxed option, a cash-game style table lets guests drop in and out.

Combining Poker with Other Games

We hire six tables:

  • Roulette, 8ft x 4ft

  • Blackjack, 6ft x 4ft

  • Texas Hold'em Poker, 8ft x 4ft

  • 3 Card Poker, 6ft x 4ft

  • Dice/Craps, 6ft x 4ft

  • Money Wheel (Wheel of Fortune), 6ft x 4ft

Poker is a slower game than most, so it pairs well with something quicker for guests who do not want to commit to a long hand. Our roulette table hire is a natural partner, because guests can move between the two as they please. 3 Card Poker is a good choice if you want a second poker format.

Where We Work

We are based in London NW3 and set up poker tables at hotels, offices, pubs, clubs, function rooms and private homes across London and the UK. Travel charges may apply outside London.
