Roulette Hire: Why It Is the Centrepiece of a Casino Night

Updated: 2 days ago
Roulette table hire in London is the quickest way to give an event the feel of a real casino. The spinning wheel, the ball and the moment before it lands draw a crowd like no other game. Premium Fun Casino has provided roulette tables for parties, weddings, corporate events and charity nights for 15 years. Here is how roulette works at an event and how to get the most from it.
Why Roulette Draws a Crowd
Roulette is the first game most people picture when they think of a casino. The table looks striking, the rules take seconds to pick up and guests who have never played feel confident within a couple of spins. Many people simply stand and watch for a while before joining in, which means the table adds atmosphere even when every seat is full.
It also suits every kind of audience. Younger guests enjoy the speed, older guests enjoy the ritual, and nobody needs any experience. Every guest plays with fun casino money, so there is no real gambling and no licensing to arrange.
How a Game of Roulette Works
The croupier spins the wheel and sends the ball the other way. Before the ball settles, guests place their fun chips on numbers, colours or groups of numbers on the table layout. Once the ball lands, the croupier clears the losing bets and pays out the winners.
You do not need to learn the full layout. Our croupiers explain the simple bets first, such as red or black, and introduce more adventurous bets as guests get comfortable. Between spins the croupier chats to the table, which keeps the mood light.
What Is Included in a Roulette Booking
A full-size professional roulette table with a real wheel, 8ft x 4ft
An experienced croupier for a three hour dealing period
Fun casino money for all your guests
Same-day delivery, setup and collection
Public liability insurance
Extended playing time is available if your evening runs later than planned. You can read more on our roulette table hire page.
How Many Guests Can Play?
Up to eight or nine players can place bets at the table at once, and guests rotate in and out through the evening. A single roulette table works well for groups of up to around 80 people, particularly when you add a second game. For larger events, two roulette tables keep queues down. Leave room for guests to stand around the table, and tell us about your venue so we can confirm that it fits comfortably.
Pairing Roulette with Other Tables
Most bookings combine roulette with one or two other games. We hire six tables:
Roulette, 8ft x 4ft
Blackjack, 6ft x 4ft
Texas Hold'em Poker, 8ft x 4ft
3 Card Poker, 6ft x 4ft
Dice/Craps, 6ft x 4ft
Money Wheel (Wheel of Fortune), 6ft x 4ft
The most popular pairing is roulette and blackjack, because both are easy for newcomers. Our blackjack table hire page explains how that game works. For a bigger night with 60 guests or more, add a poker table. If you want a game that needs no skill, the Money Wheel keeps guests busy between spins.
Events That Suit Roulette
Birthday parties and milestone celebrations
Wedding receptions
Corporate events and client evenings
Christmas parties
Charity casino nights
Roulette suits events of every size. For a small party it can be the only table, and for a large event it anchors the room while other games sit around it.
